Watch this VIDEO. Extremely dirty indoor coil. This is a very good reason why to replace your systems when they start to get old. All that stuff in the A-coil is insulation and the silver wrapping that hold’s it together. This came from the furnace. This restricts airflow and causes liquid freon to go back into the compressor. This eventually will cause compressor failure. This compessor on this system failed. The only way to clean this indoor coil would have been to reclaim all the freon and take the a-coil off of the top of the furnace.

This is a video of us cleaning an outdoor coil at a commercial business. They were suppose to be having quarterly Preventative Maintenace Inspections…As you can see from the oil coming out of the outdoor coil. They weren’t. APS suggests cleaning outdoor coils twice a year with chemical and properly rinsing…This unit already had a new compressor replaced and the company that installed the compressor didn’t change the burn’t contactor and didn’t clean the outdoor or indoor coils….lack of maintenace will destory a/c’s
